ReInhabit acquires, restores, remodels and sells period homes in Southern California. Our primary focus is on the residential real estate market, although our work also encompasses commercial properties. There’s no one “right size” development project for ReInhabit. Size and purchase price are less important to us than a project’s potential. What motivates a “go” decision for ReInhabit is potential. We know the communities in which we operate: the real estate market, local economic conditions and political climate. We study each project carefully, weighing its potential financial success against the market and capital risk it presents. And we answer every question about the physical development that will be needed, both outside our project boundaries and within, before we put capital at risk. Among the areas we’ve targeted since our founding are the Los Angeles County communities of Atwater Village, Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Hollywood Hills, Glassell Park, Highlabnd Park and Echo Park. We’re careful to preserve a home’s character. We’re deliberate about the materials we choose. We’re decisive about what needs to be done to increase the value and function of a property. We’re thrilled to give a home a new life when it is inhabited by homeowners.
